Sailing Boats and Windsurfing
If you have your own sailing dinghy or windsurfer, these can be launched from Lakeside Jetty.

SEASONAL PERMITS are valid from 1/2/15 to 31/12/15.
DAILY PERMITS can be bought individually on a daily basis or in blocks of five consecutive days when a 20% DISCOUNT will be given.
SPECIAL OFFER - If you camp on our site or stay in one of our caravans and buy 5 consecutive day permits we will not charge the normal launching fee.
Lake Permits are not for commercial use.
1.No craft should intentionally enter any permanent exclusion marked red on the map and with red buoys on the lake.
2.From the 14th March until 9th Nov all craft should try to reduce their use of the summer avoidance/winter exclusion zone marked yellow on the map and with yellow buoys on the lake.
3.Between the 9th Nov to the 14th March no craft should intentionally enter the summer avoidance/winter exclusion zone.
Please make your craft ready before bringing it on to the jetty and remove your trailer/vehicle to a suitable parking place once it has been launched.

To help Prevent Llangorse Lake becoming infected with Zebra Mussels, which can cause extensive damage to boats and irreversible destruction of ecosystems any boat or equipment being brought to the lake should be decontaminated before arrival. Information on this procedure can be found on the Cardiff Harbour Authority's website.
When hiring or using your own watercraft please be aware of your own limitations and the prevailing weather conditions. All water activities can be potentially hazardous and are undertaken at your own risk. It Is Not Advised To Go Onto The Lake In Strong Winds. It is not advised to go onto the lake whilst under the influence of alcohol!
